The Airbus A220, originally the Bombardier C Series is a modern advanced aerodynamics, high tech cockpit and fuel efficient Pratt&Whitney geared turbofan engines. Entering service in 2016, it has been praised for its performance and passenger comfort. Taken over by Airbus in 2018 it delivers strong range, comfort, and economics, positioning itself between regional jets and larger single-aisle aircrafts like the A320neo.
